HOW TO TRAVEL WITH US?
Flights:
Since everyone knows the flight search pages we like to give liberty for you to find the best option. All we need is that everyone attending will be in Buenos Aires when the program start. We are happy to give you recommendations though and classically the best connection and also good price has been with Lufthansa via Frankfurt.
Bariloche has several flight connections with Aerolineas Argentinas. Ones we settle the dates you will receive a recommendation from us!
Visas:
Finnish and other Schengen Zone visitors can stay in Argentina 90 days without visa. Check your own visa need if you come outside that area!
Accommodation:
Same goes with hotel booking forums. People like to find the best place with best price :) In this case we would prefer have you accommodated close to Plaza Italia in the neighborhood of Palermo in Buenos Aires. We let you choose in Buenos Aires so you can also freely decide when you arrive and leave.
In Bariloche and El Bolsón we will have an accommodation that is same for everyone. We are heading for 3 star hotels and cabins (cabañas) with private rooms and common cooking facilities.
Insurances and responsiblities.
We have liability insurance for our guided activities. These guided services are provided by Hassu Tours Helsinki sustainable tourism company registered in Finland with registration number FI13680260. We require that every participant signs the waiver of liability form taking their own responsibility when joining hiking and other activities. We also require traveling insurance including accidents and health care need of our visitors. The trips are offered for and produced with international tour operators that will represent their own terms and responsibilities when agreed as collaboration.
Security:
Argentina can be considered safe in South American standards. But common sense should be wisely followed and use of safety boxes and not carrying your whole life belongings with you when outside is recommended especially in Buenos Aires. Patagonia then is very late back but part of the big nation so it´s always good to keep eye on things and yourself. 50 pesos with you is already enough for a bottle of wine :)
Money:
The most of rates and tarifs are given in US Dollars because of the fast inflation of Argentina. In November 2016 the EU is still the most valuable and stabilized currency so you can change your Euros when in Argentina expect the little start up money that you might need for arrival.
